Note: females of this species are our greenest dragonflies. Eyes, most of the thorax and parts of the abdomen are green. The darker spots are brown.

Both pictures show teneral individuals which just emerged. Their exuviae are also on the picture. But they don't change color when getting mature, so the pictures are representative for the females of this species anyway.
