Note: There's two Erythromma species in Europe: E. najas and E. viridulum. E. viridulum is a little smaller than E. najas. Distinguishing feature for the females is the antehumeral stripe, which is like an exclamation mark with E. najas and complete with E. viridulum. Erythromma najas starts flying earlier in the season than E. viridulum.
