Note: Sometimes considered to be a subspecies of G. vulgatissimus (and then called, of course, Gomphus vulgatissimus schneiderii). Differs from G. vulgatissimus by the shoulder striping, the abdomen (which is narrower) and the amount of yellow on the abdomen.
